Good news item #1: Last night I talked with my critiquing buddy whose husband was recently diagnosed with cancer. All looks fairly good going into next week’s surgery. And with all the time she’s spent in waiting rooms while her husband gets tested for this and that, she’s even had time to work on her novel. Fingers crossed.
Good news item #2: The editor I e-queried yesterday must not have been that far out of the office. I heard back last night from her that she’d like to see the manuscript. Via post, which is fine with me.
On the other hand, today made the second straight day in which the demands of my salaried job left no opportunity to get any writing done on my lunch hour. If I weren’t so tired, I’d be cranky about it.
Chris,
Great Blog! COngrats on your book coming out in 2007 (it must seem like a long wait)
I added your blog to mine, but for some reason the link isn’t working. I’m not sure if I have too many blogs in the url or what’s up with it.
Thanks so much for putting my blog here.
I’ll try to fix your link on my blog today.
