On the heels of Friday’s rejections and another one yesterday, I learned first thing this morning that a major publisher that just doesn’t do nonfiction is now doing nonfiction.
On what scale, I don’t know. But at the very least, an editor who has been kind in responding to my fiction submissions over the years has just signed up a nonfiction book in a similar vein as the ones my agent is shopping around for me.
There are worse ways to start the day…
Look at it this way — their mistake is their gain lol.
By the way, I selfishly like the sound of a publisher that didn’t used to do children’s nonfiction doing nonfiction.
