The 32 new inductees into the Texas Institute of Letters are shown here in random order. To put faces with names (and a bit about their work), please read the TIL press release announcing their induction.

I’m nearly halfway through my two-year stint as the vice president of the Texas Institute of Letters, a literary honor society that’s been around since 1936, and we’ve just experienced one of our annual highlights.

I could not be more excited about the 32 new members that we in TIL are welcoming into our ranks in 2025. There’s lots to say about each of them, and a bit of that made it into the press release, but even just seeing their names and faces all in one place is thrilling to me, so here they are:

Sharon Bridgforth
e.E. Charlton-Trujillo
Sean Cotter

To all to them, I offer a great big welcome to TIL and my most sincere congratulations. And to everyone else (Texan or not!), these 32 folks have created a lot of tremendous work. I hope you’ll seek some of it out and see for yourself why our members have widened the circle to make room for them.
