A nonfiction author I hadn’t met before e-mailed me the other day with a few questions about my agent. In closing, she wished me well with my book and said, “It had never even occurred to me that someone invented Day-Glo!”
Yes, yes, YES!!! That’s exactly how I want folks to respond when they hear about The Day-Glo Brothers.
Oh, I thought of your book the other day when we went to a circus here in which all the performers are kids. For one act, there were 40 or 50 acrobats all wearing costumes that were either Day-Glo orange, Day-Glo green, or black with Day-Glo green and orange stripes. They were all carrying glow sticks when they walked in, and black lights were shining down on them. It was pretty cool!
