It’s “Best of the Year” season, and while I’m personally on the lookout for great new music that I might have missed during 2022 (any suggestions?), I suspect you might have a particular interest in lists of the best books for young readers.

Her novel Worser is included among the Best Children’s Books of 2022 by The New York Times (which calls it “funny, clever, compassionate”), Best Middle-Grade Fiction of 2022 by Kirkus Reviews (“entertaining”) and Editors’ Choice: Books for Youth, 2022 by Booklist (“powerful”).
