Last Thursday, illustrator Shanda McCloskey and I did our first public presentation based on our picture book, Fire Truck vs. Dragon, and as the tweets below attest, it was well received.
Not only that, but Shanda and I ourselves had a great time — so much so that we’ve already scheduled our next half-hour live presentation, including a readaloud, drawing demonstration (Fire Truck this time!), insights into how we made our new book, and answers to your questions.
The live presentation will occur at 9 a.m. Central/10 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, November 12, and a recording will made available for the next week to all who have registered.
Registration is just $10, but spaces are limited, so I urge you to sign up now.
Shanda and I are also offering private virtual visits, and you can learn more about those here.
How have audiences responded so far to the combination of Shanda and me? Have a look at some of the feedback to our October 8 presentation — and then sign up for November 12!

One of the things that I was the most bummed about this year was the idea that we would not have author visits. Luckily, there are smart people like @Bartography and @ShandaMcCloskey ! They put on a great virtual author visit today that our kids loved! ?? #virtualauthorvisits pic.twitter.com/0WyFI7pTd5
