The details are out about children’s book panel at the Writers’ League of Texas’ Agents and Editors Conference later this month. On Saturday the 24th at 11 a.m. you’ll find Kathi Appelt, Anne Bustard, moderator Mark Mitchell and me on a Q&A panel titled “Breaking into the Children’s Book Market.”

If you’re interested in breaking out of the children’s book market, you’re on your own.

There is, however, an afternoon session that might interest many of you: “The Kid In You: Writing for the Children’s and Young Adult Literary Trade Book Market,” by Cynthia Leitich Smith and Greg Leitich Smith.
