How about if we end the year with a little variety?
For my December 2023 book giveaway, I’m offering a different signed title of mine to each of four winners. The four books I’m giving away are:
Glitter Everywhere! Where It Came From, Where It’s Found & Where It’s Going, which contains no actual glitter. (I’m sorry./You’re welcome!)
88 Instruments, which School Library Journal described as “a playful exploration of sound” and “a hilarious onomatopoeic romp.”
Shark vs. Train. I have seen so many copies of this one that have been loved nearly to pieces. Maybe you know of one that’s ripe for replacement?
Sister, Brother, Family: An American Childhood in Music, written by Willie Nelson and his late big sister/piano player, Bobbie Nelson — with a little help from me.
Subscribers to my monthly Bartography Express newsletter (folks can sign up here) are all eligible to win one of these titles.
If you’re a Bartography Express subscriber with a U.S. mailing address and you’d like to be one of those four winners, by the end of December 2023 either say so in the comments below or email me directly, and you’ll officially be in the running.
Good luck — and if you know another reader, family member, educator, librarian, etc., who you think might like to be one of the fortunate four, won’t you please let them know, too?
I would love to have a signed copy of one of your books!
I’d love to win a copy!

Yes, love your work and look forward to having you at our school soon!
Mr. Chris,
I still feel so honored to have enjoyed the opportunity of seeing you in person {again} talking about your delightful book, GLITTER EVERYWHERE.
The book is a valuable friend to me because I have a neighborhood filled with kids who frequent my home to check out books in my small library, we color, we paste, we cut, we snack, we work a real gumball machine, and often we glitter. Boy, do they love to glitter? I can’t imagine a home without a bottle of glitter and I learned so much about it, other than to dazzle me and my little visitors, that I did not know about until I read your delightful book. Glitter is a must if you have kids around.
You give a great presentation at the bookstore and you take the time to answer every question. I loved the attention you gave one young girl like she had asked the most important question concerning glitter. You certainly relate to your young audiences in person, as well as on paper. I did not know about some of your books and I will search them out for sure.
Happy holidays and happy new year!!
Thank you all so much for reading Bartography Express and stopping by here to say hello — you’re now in the running for the giveaway!
I’d love to be in the running!
