Big news from the Library of Congress yesterday: The author lineup for the 2022 National Book Festival was announced!

Even bigger news, as far as I’m concerned: My wife, Jennifer Ziegler, will be among the featured authors!

Just when I think I couldn’t be any prouder of her and her marvelous middle-grade novel, Worser

From the festival website:

“The 22nd annual Library of Congress National Book Festival will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Sept. 3, The event is free and open to the public. This year’s theme is ‘Books Bring Us Together.’ A selection of programs will be livestreamed online and videos of all programs will be available shortly after the Festival.”

I hope you get to see Jenny and get to know Worser — you’ll be glad you did. (Her publisher, Holiday House, will appreciate it, too. And so will I.)
