Welcome to the 64th episode of This One’s Dedicated to…, in which Jennifer Ziegler and I share our quick conversation with author Ty Chapman about the dedication he wrote for his picture book biography Stokes: The Brief Career of the NBA’s First Black Superstar (co-written with John Coy and illustrated by Lonnie Ollivierre; Millbrook Press/Lerner Publishing, 2024).

Stokes is just one of the titles included in the November 2024 book giveaway that I’m doing for subscribers to my monthly Bartography Express newsletter (you can subscribe here).

Four Bartography Express subscribers will win one copy of each giveaway title — multiple winners, multiple books! If you’d like one of those winners to be you, by the end of November 2024 either say so in the comments below or email me directly, and you’ll be in the running. (U.S. mailing addresses only.)

Thanks for watching, and please visit the main This One’s Dedicated to… page for more episodes and a look at who Jennifer and I will be talking with soon.
