Before the welcome deluge of “Best of 2023” book lists, I thought I’d once again celebrate a pair of near-and-dear titles from last year.
For November, my wife (Jennifer Ziegler, a.k.a. My Favorite Author in the Whole Wide World) and I are giving away four sets of books that will include:
- one signed copy of Jennifer’s middle grade novel Worser (included among the Best Children’s Books of 2022 by The New York Times, Best Middle-Grade Fiction of 2022 by Kirkus Reviews, and Editors’ Choice: Books for Youth, 2022 by Booklist), PLUS…
- one signed copy of my and illustrator Steffi Walthall’s nonfiction picture book, Moving Forward: From Space-Age Rides to Civil Rights Sit-Ins with Airman Alton Yates (also one of the best books of last year, according to School Library Journal).
That’s right: We’re giving away eight books in all!
Subscribers to my monthly Bartography Express newsletter (folks can sign up here) are eligible for one of four signed and personalized two-book sets of Moving Forward (published by Beach Lane Books/Simon & Schuster) and Worser (published by Holiday House).
If you’re a Bartography Express subscriber with a U.S. mailing address and you’d like to be one of those four winners, by the end of November 2023 either say so in the comments below or email me directly, and you’ll officially be in the running.
Good luck — and if you know another reader, family member, educator, librarian, etc., who you think might like to have a shot, won’t you please let them know, too?
