Many thanks to the many, many students who made thank-you notes for me after my recent author visit to their school!

Having students do something like this as follow-up to an author’s presentation is a great way to get even more benefit out of that visit — and expressing gratitude just feels good! (Take it from someone who always sends handwritten notes after school visits…)

My favorite of these is the one featured in the final three images. Gotta love a kid who does her own callback to my callback!
